About the Item
This is and amazing one of a kind Carving by Artist Randy Kolhoff of Sag Harbor New York. Large at 72" Its it is both Unique and original. Carved from fir wood and painted in layered oils, it looks hundreds of years old. Signed and dated by the artist it is a Bowhead whale. The details are amazing, well made and a real quality addition to any art collection.. The baleen is carved into the wood creating a wonderful texture to the piece. Hangs on the wall by a wire in the back. #7 if the order of carvings completed by the artist that now sits at 144, only 3 of those are bowheads and each is unique.
