About the Item
Pair of sculptures made by artist Savino Tripodi.
Sculptures made of glazed and painted terra cotta amano.
The two sculptures each depict two faces with ancient, deformed features.
They are designed to hang on the wall so that the heads come out of the wall.
Savino Tripodi is a ceramist from Turin with a small artisan workshop where he has been producing and signing a contained collection of sculptures, majolica and small furniture accessories since the 1950s.
The works are both signed on the back.
The heads are in excellent state of preservation, only one of them has a live chipping visible from photos.
