About the Item

Large figural standing officer or Policeman whirligig. Its hand-carved from Pine and handprinted black and white. The face is plain yet skillfully carved with painted facial features and moustache. Great overall condition showing natural wear and patina. It made in Europe, probably England, circa 1950 by an artisan craftsman. It has a hole in the bottom of the base. Meant for mounting on a nail or stick. Measurements: 52 cm with one arm extended - 36,5 cm without. The arms measures 27 cm in length.
