A bold and striking survivor from the early days roadside eateries, this original 1920's “STEAKS AND CHOPS” sign is hand-painted on wood with thick, period-correct lettering in buttery yellow against a rich oxblood red background. Framed in its original green and black-painted butt-jointed edge with excellent surface wear and alligatoring, this piece captures the spirit of early 20th-century Americana.
