About the Item
A oversized full leather replica of a balmoral boot, likely to of been used in a great exhibition/trade show when the balmoral boot was made popular after it was created for Prince Albert in 1857.
The boot is in great condition for its age, with some age related wear and abrasions. Two small elderly cracks to the leather just beneath where the facia of the laces tie, closest to the toe.
An exceptional piece of English Folk Art.
