This piece advertises a drink known as a "B and B Stinger", which is Benedictine
Brandy, mixed with crème de menthe (peppermint liqueur). This sign features two bee decals, while the "B and B Stinger" is reverse-painted glass. The sign is stamped with the logo of Julius Wile Sons
Co., importers of liquors and wines out of New York City. The company was founded by Julius in 1877 alongside his sons Alfons and Irwin and was sold to RJR Nabisco in 1972.
