About the Item
A pub sign depicting a whimsical fox emerging from a gilt jug, of very large scale. Hand-hewn from solid wood and skilfully relief carved - the fox has distinct fur, legs, ear, snout and and eyes, and the jug has a smooth surface of hourglass form and a shaped handle. Well-decorated painted and gilt surface. Cobb
