About the Item

Hand carved solid wooden doors of an African cabinet (Mali/Dogon). fixed on a white colored wooden plate, gold framed. The object shows typical African symbols 1 figure, 1 weapon, 1 leopard, 1 knife which due to the depth of carving act like a sculpture with an already very sympathetic patina which deepens the object again. Through the golden frame the doors gain expression and the whole thing looks like a modern wall object. The object is heavy and has a natural and expressive charisma.
