Classic Luba Kabeja Janus Double Figure or fetish with Skirt fetish of darkened wood with polished and worn patina. Striking eyes, and both male and female figures shown with hands holding the stomach. Opening on top of head which originally held fetish materials.
Provenance: ex- collection Dr. Sabot, NY, acquired from Irwin Hersey, NYC 1978.
