Matching rare pair of stocky male twin figures "Ibeji" from the Yoruba people of Nigeria, Africa, created in the early 20th century. Dressed with matching glass bead necklace and bracelets, remains of Reckitts blue (laundry bleach) bluing in hair. Whimsical faces with perky expressions, dressed with yellow and black bead bracelets and one necklace. Heavy wear and patina from years of use.
Crack on right side of face of one figure.
