About the Item
A vintage carved ten leg tribal "Elephant" wood stool with a finely decorated top. The carved central star has a square in the middle and is framed by three different carved bands. The entire top is covered with fine linear striations. The heavy legs are carved with flat facets.
Dimensions: 15" diameter x 7" high
Condition: Please review the detail photos. Various signs of age and wear include wear, stains and a few cracks to the top. There is a stable crack to one leg and two legs are shorter than the others but this does not affect the stability of the stool. There is expected wear to all,the legs. A fine example of the type and presenting in a strong African Tribal manner.
