About the Item
One of a set of ten Minimalist German made vintage pendant light fixtures or lamps designed by renowned Mid-Century Modern Danish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson and produced by Glashütte Limburg, circa 1970s. The simple, yet striking, clean lined modernist design looks effortlessly timeless and would fit equally well into any midcentury home as well as any modern home decor. The octagonal geometric shape combined with the sleek black lines result in a futuristic lantern style pendant which is sure to be a big hit and a conversation piece in any home.
Newly wired. The lights require a single E27 (E26 for U.S. customers) screw fit light bulb (75 Watt Max.)

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
