About the Item
1930’s Original French Opaline Glass Pendant Lamps.
Sadly we don’t know the manufacturer, the lamps feature the original opaline glass shades and unusually the original brass galleries, chain and ceiling fitments. The lamps have been cleaned, but we left the brass components with the character of years of patination and oxidation. All the electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. INCLUDED: The lamps come completely wired and ready to install as shown. The lamp is fitted with a standard E27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. We do not currently sell bulbs and recommend LED bulbs 6W maximum. We are specialists in refurbishment of vintage lighting, please contact us with any questions regarding purchase or installation. Listing is for one lamp only. Please note the lamps are almost identical but there are minor differences in the galleries as photographed.
Workshop Report:
We take electrical safety very seriously, our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that every lamp leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. Each lamp has been cleaned and restored and all original electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. Each lamp comes completely wired.
