About the Item
A lovely example of Post-War French decorative chandelier designed by the popular company Genet et Michon. This particular example is of wrought steel, brass and crystal construction with the glass elements made by Cristal de Sevres. The steelwork is still wearing its original green paint, there is some patination to the brass parts and each crystal piece is stickered with the Sevres factory logo.
The lamp hangs off its original brass chain from the original matching green ceiling rose. It has been gently cleaned and rewired with modern flex and fitted with brand new oatmeal coloured linen clip-on shades, which are still in their plastic covers.

This stunning 1970s American Lucite ribbon and brass chandelier comprises of U-shaped thick bands of cascading Lucite in different lengths that are suspended from a chrome frame with brass fixings.
