Aino Maria Marsio-Aalto was a Finnish architect and a key innovator of Scandinavian Modern design. The co-founder of the legendary design brand Artek, she energetically collaborated with her more famous husband Alvar Aalto on many of its most iconic designs.

- Condition:Replacements made: New period styled custom fabricated brass ceiling canopy added for mounting and hardwiring over a standard American j-box. Rewired: Rewired for 60W max e26 incandescent bulb (higher with LED); white cord and custom brass canopy. Wear consistent with age and use. Overall in good condition. Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy.. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request.
