About the Item
1950’s Industrial Bakelite Top Pendant Lamps.
Please note in this design there are a number of slightly different glass domes, each design is listed separately. Sourced in Eastern Europe the lamps are completely original with bold Bakelite tops, an enamelled mint green shade and cast glass domes. Each lamp has been cleaned and restored and all electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. INCLUDED: Each lamp comes completely wired and ready to install including; 2 metres of wire for hanging the lamps, 2 metres of black silk covered electrical cable and a ceiling hook as shown. We can also supply more than 2 metres of hanging cable/wire/chain etc. as required, please contact us separately to discuss. The lamp is fitted with a standard E27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. We do not currently sell bulbs and recommend LED bulbs 6W maximum. We are specialists in refurbishment of vintage lighting, please contact us with any questions regarding purchase or installation. The lamp is currently wired and fitted for UK and EU compliance. The lamp can be wired for compliance in the US or any global market. Listing is for one lamp.
Workshop Report:
We take electrical safety very seriously, our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that every lamp leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. Each lamp has been cleaned and restored and all original electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. Each lamp comes completely wired.
