About the Item
A superb 1950s Italian mid-century chandelier in solid brass, elegantly fitted with fine-cut crystal drops by Lumi Milano.
This rare model features ten sweeping candelabra‑style arms in warm patinated brass, each adorned with faceted crystal drops. Suspended from its original tapered brass canopy, the design combines Baroque Revival opulence with the clean lines of mid‑century Italian lighting.
The piece has been professionally restored: the brass frame has been polished to enhance its warm lustre, the chandelier has been rewired for modern compatibility, and the crystals have been meticulously cleaned and secured. Two minor crystal losses under one arm are not noticeable and do not affect its beauty or structural integrity. These can be replaced if need be.
Perfect for a dining room, grand foyer, or any sophisticated interior, this chandelier offers a striking centrepiece with a true Italian heritage.
Provenance
This design shares hallmarks with Lumi Milano and other leading Milanese lighting ateliers of the 1950s such as Stilux and early Gaetano Sciolari works.

All our pieces are expertly restored at our atelier and we only offer items that will last another lifetime. Our 350 square meter workspace includes a luminous gallery, a restoration atelier where our expert artisans in metalwork, woodwork, upholstery, and electrics; restore each piece with the mission to honor a balance between restoration and preservation. There may be light age-related wear but no hard damages or structural issues.?
Since the launch of our gallery in late 2017, we have exported over 1059 items to buyers in 21 countries located in all four corners of the world from Europe and North America to Asia and Australia. In the United States alone, we have ensured the delivery of over 150 pieces of all sizes (from massive dining tables to small decorative objects) in 23 states.
We take the utmost attention to our packaging by building robust made-to-measure boxes in our atelier with the aim of providing safe and cost-effective delivery prices for every client. Most deliveries arrive smoothly in less than 8 days. We are located both in Paris and Rabat. FYI the Morocco Free Trade Agreement (MAFTA) went into effect on January 1, 2006. Under the agreement, most Moroccan goods enter the United States duty-free.?
