1950’s Large Bullicante Smoked Glass Pendant Lamp
1950’s Large Bullicante Smoked Glass Pendant Lamp. Extraordinary mouth blown and hand formed glass lamp made in the Czech republic using the traditional Murano bullicante glass. The molten clear glass orb is hot rolled rapidly infusing air bubbles into the cooling glass. The Czech republic has a rich international history of glass production championed by the iconic Lustry Kamenicky Senon glassworks. In exceptional original condition, the lamp is made of two pieces of original glass and comes with all the original brass components. The lamp comes with 1 metre of brass chain and clear cable, longer lengths can be supplied as required. All our lamps have been carefully restored and all electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. INCLUDED: Each lamp comes completely wired and ready to install The lamp is fitted with a standard E27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. We do not currently sell bulbs and recommend LED bulbs 6W maximum. Listing is for one lamp, two available when published.

All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
