1950’s Original French Tabac Opal Glass Pendant Lamp – Single (958.7)
1950’s Original French Tabac Opal Glass Pendant Lamp – Single. Stunning original pendant lamp from a Tabac in France. The opal shade is the original glass and the galleries and fittings are spun aluminium. All our lamps have been carefully restored and all electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. INCLUDED: The lamp comes completely wired and ready to install. The lamp is fitted with a standard E27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. We do not currently sell bulbs and recommend LED bulbs 6W maximum. Listing is for one lamp. The rod is a fixed length and the lamp hangs at a total length of 66cm. The glass shade is 36cm width.
WORKSHOP REPORT
Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
