Elegant chandelier with tendril twisted glass and gold-plated brass ribbons designed by Christoph Palme.
The sparkling and glittering Palwa chandeliers are hanging in the Residence of the Empress Marie-Therese of Austria, in the Sultan of Brunei’s palaces, in the palaces of the Kings of Saudi Arabia and of the Sheikhs of the Gulf states but also in the White House in Washington and in the Bellevue Castle in Berlin, in first-class hotels and embassies. Manufactured by Palwa (Palme
Walter), Germany in the 1960s.
Design: Christoph Palme.
Measures: diameter 15" in., height 19.7" in., height includes suspension 49" in.
Lighting: takes seven small Edison E14 base screw bulbs.
Wattage: we recommend up to 40w per bulb. Works on 220v as well as 110v.
Condition: very good vintage condition. No imperfections to the crystals.
Wiring: the lamp has been tested with US American light bulbs under 120v and works flawlessly, no tools or rewiring required. All our goods are originally wired for 220v. Delivery without bulbs.
Shipping: in order to ensure safe transport, the chandelier will be dismantled and carefully packed.

Very well preserved large 25.6" chandelier, handcrafted, consisting of gilded brass rings and cages encrusted with crystal glass varying in size and form. It holds 11 bulbs each (3x e14 with 40W max), 7 with e26/27 with 60W max). It is in excellent condition and has been professionally cleaned, the main cord has been rewired.
