1960s Perforated Brass Cylindrical Pendant Attributed to Mauri Almari for Idman. A quintessential example of Finnish design, these pendants are executed in perforated polished brass and have been professionally modified for mounting over a standard US junction box. Highly reminiscent of Paavo Tynell's iconic designs for Taito Oy.
A contemporary of Paavo Tynell, the inspired work of Mauri Almari has made him an increasingly valued midcentury Finnish designer by discerning collectors.

Each pendant accommodates 1x 60W equivalent standard US LED bulb. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing available from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
Professionally rewired for US electrical with thick black cloth cord and new 4.25" period-style brass canopy. Adjustable 59" drop. Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy.
