About the Item
Two striking Scandinavian midcentury art glass pendants on brass mounts manufactured by Pukeberg Glassworks in Sweden in the mid 20th century. Cloudy white, rose, pink and peach colors in organic bubble patterns. Small original label on each glass globe. Excellent vintage condition.

The Pukeberg Glassworks was founded in 1871 by C.W. Nyström from Kosta Glassworks. During the 1890s it had become one of Sweden's largest glassworks with a vast production of mouth blown light fixtures, decorative glass, large glass signs and colorful glassware. Designers and glass artists who have worked at Pukeberg Glassworks include Uno Westerberg, Harald Notini, Göran Wärff, Ann Wärff and Eva Englund.
