About the Item
1970s German Hudstadt-Leuchten four glass torch and chrome hanging ceiling lights. The original maker's label is still present within the wooden ceiling fixture which each light is suspended from and where the wires are concealed inside. This is easily hooked to the ceiling with two screws that tighten and fix it flush to the ceiling.
The glass and brushed chrome shades resemble upturned torches with flames. The lightbulb can be accessed by loosening the chrome screw beneath the glass shade which is then removable from the chrome section.
A single Edison E14 screw in lightbulb is required in each of the four shades. The light has had the ceiling checked and is in full working order. The height of the shades can be easily adjusted to your specifications.
The brushed chrome shows some colour difference and discolouration in places and the wood veneer on the ceiling strip shows some age related wear and in one place the veneer is missing but this is barely noticeable.
If you wish it's possible to remove the wooden baton and place the lights as individual pendants which would look amazing with the brushed chrome ceiling cup to match. Perhaps making them look a little more contemporary.
