About the Item
Korean flame proof Edison LED twin strip light made by Daeyang in the 1970s with bespoke signal orange finish.
Original item salvaged from supertankers and military vessels then professionally restored.
A real example of vintage industrial lighting that you just don't see these days, in fact it would have been impossible to buy these back when they where manufactured as they are NATO fixtures not available to the public.
The main body is cast aluminium and with steel and brass fittings, the tubes are formed from glass and are also flame proof. It has some details on the manufacturers plate, which confirm its authenticity.
This light has been re-finished in signal orange 2K hardened paint, and all nuts and bolts have been replaced for polished brass equivalents.
