About the Item
Korean flameproof strip light made by Daeyang circa 1978 with a polished finish.
Originally these would have illuminated hazardous areas on super tankers, cargo ships and military vessels such as engine rooms and areas where dangerous gases are present or fuels are cross loaded.
The main body is cast aluminium with steel and brass fittings, and glass cylindrical tubes housing the LED lamps. Fully restored and re-wired at Loomlight and supplied with 2700-3000kelvin (warm white tungsten equivalent) LED T8 tubes which are compatible with 100v up to 240v electrics.
These lights have an original manufacturers specification label and is IP55 rated and explosion proof rated which allow them to be used in wet zones such as bathrooms and kitchens.

Lamp - 2x T8 warm white LED tube Dimmable (electrics are fitted on placement of order, 120v for USA and Japan or 220v for rest of world).
All lights are professionally re-wired in-house to exceed British Standards using CE approved components. Dimensions and weights are approximate. For all orders to USA, UL listed bulb holders and 100v bulbs will be fitted. All lights are sold ready for use in your home or commercial installation.
