About the Item
Original stainless steel, cast brass and bronze search light pendant conversion.
This very substantial fitting was salvaged from an old Japanese cargo ship, built during the 1970s and is of outstanding build quality.
The stainless dome is spun with a pressed frame securing the tempered glass, this can be opened using the wing nuts which release the cover to allow you to change the bulb. The conical section is solid cast brass and contributes to the majority of the weight, the cast bronze enclosure on the side is where the electrical connections are made.
We supply this fitted with a tower LED bulb or equivalent which is a very warm white color and has approximate 20,000 hours life span and is also dimmable.
All cable glands / seals have been replaced which restores the lights IP rating for use in wet zones around the house.
