About the Item
Modernist metal pendant probably from the 1960's. Made in the former GDR (East Germany). The shade is made of two interconnected metal hoops, which are painted red on the inside and reflect the colour when the light is on. The pendant is reminiscent of designs by Danish designer Jo Hammerborg, who at the same time created metal chandeliers and often also had red or orange paint on the inside. Bulb: 1 x E25-E27.
