About the Item
This stately classical pendant was realized in Russia during the 19th century. It features a domed translucent body blown in a rich emerald green glass; a sculptural undulating finial in bronze; the original chain and canopy (also in bronze); and a band circumscribing the top of the emerald glass replete with a wealth of stylized foliate details engraved into the bronze. With its fastidious craftsmanship and beautiful attention to detail, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classical to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition. The chandelier accommodates three candelabra based bulbs offering up to 180 watts of light.
