About the Item

A most charming Italian 19th century pressed patinated metal, giltwood and crystal twelve lights Genovese chandelier. This magnificent chandelier features 2 tiers of 6 lights each. Its giltwood and patinated ivory painted central fut. displays richly carved leaves and is centered by a most decorative array of beaded crystal garlands. All strands of crystal beads chains as well as each piece making flowers were handmade. It is absolutely complete, all original and in perfect working order. It is a very unusual proportion chandelier as far as it is wider than tall. It gives a warm and pleasant light and provides a luxurious touch in all styles of interiors. Takes E14 bulbs. Wired for U.S.
