About the Item

The Accordion Pendant is a sculptural light fixture inspired by the classic accordion often featured in Tejano and Ranchero music. Its unique folded form is accented with a playful pompom detail, evoking the rhythm and movement of music and dance. Each pendant is hand-built using slab construction techniques with a rich red clay body that is fired raw without glaze, allowing the natural earthy texture of the clay to remain visible and tactile. This artisan pendant is finished with antique brass hardware featuring refined knurling details, adding a touch of rustic elegance. It accepts standard E26 base light bulbs, with Edison-style bulbs recommended to highlight its warm, sculptural glow. Ideal for kitchen islands, dining spaces, or intimate commercial environments seeking meaningful, culturally inspired lighting. Shade Dimensions: 2” H x 12.25” W Overall Drop: 36” (adjustable upon request) Handmade in Los Angeles, CA Each piece embraces subtle variations, celebrating the authenticity of the handmade process.
