About the Item

A pair of large and spectacular wall lamps by J. L. Lobmeyr, Austria, Vienna, manufactured in midcentury, crica 1975. Only a few of these lamps were custom-made pieces for the lobby of the Hilton Hotel in Vienna. The Hilton Hotel was renovated a few years ago, and these lamps are part of the changed interior. These gorgeous lamps are handmade and high quality pieces which are in very good condition. Each light consists of a brass body and three removable panels made of brass rods and two nickel-plated panels decorated with large diamond-shaped crystal glass pieces. Each light has six sockets for medium or standard Edison screw base bulbs. It is possible to install the lamp in all countries (US, UK, Europe, Asia, Canada, ...) although it may be necessary to purchase different light bulbs suitable to local electricity. Two sets are available. The price is for a pair.
