About the Item

Murano blown glass chandelier with 33 crystal elements and the structure is in silver chrome. This typical chandelier is the specialty of the Murano glass master Alberto Donà. The assistants take a small amount of glass from the oven. Being its consistency like honey gives the possibility to lengthen it and shape it. The whole sophisticated design based on the repetition of the glass elements called "Curve". The chandelier can be reconditioned according to the country of destination. Project by Murano glass master Alberto Donà in 1996. This fantastic triple curve chandelier features a chrome structure and 12 E27 / E26 lights. This magnificent work will give light to any environment, spreading elegance and warmth. The original design can create fascinating lighting. The Murano glass chandelier is nothing like a typical fixture made simply to illuminate a room. This is not a mere decorative object, but is the subject of years of a creative journey that has its roots in Italy. The materials used in the production of original Murano glass belong to a long line of artisan tradition. Essentially, when you buy this kind of chandelier, you are becoming part of a rich history that began with Venetian glass masters with fervor and passion. Chandelier can be re wired for your country code. The price of the item includes professional and tailored packing. Alberto Dona’ Alberto Dona’ was born in Italy in 1944. He began working in the glass field at age 13. He worked with many masters and had opportunity to travel abroad to Venezuela to work with glass. His foremost influence was the maestro “Nane” Ferro, who was known in Murano during the 60s as one of the best masters. In the early 1970s, Dona opened his own furnace. He became known for his skill with colors and his ability to invent unique color combinations. Most characteristic, however, is the large size that Dona is able to achieve with his shapes. These qualities have attracted companies from Venini to Reflex to Saporiti, who have depended on Dona for glass accessories. By the end of the 1980s Dona’s talent also attracted many artists with whom the collaborated. Dona’s glass vessels have been included in various group shows. In October 2001 he had a one-man show at the Vassel Art Gallery in London. Also he was selected to furnish the lighting for the Hiroshima Memorial Museum.
