About the Item
Incredibly rare Mid-Century chandeliers in chrome and Murano mouth-blown "Pelugoso" glass. These spectaculars chandeliers were designed by Aldo Nason and produced by Mazzega in Italy during the 1970s.
Two pieces available, these incredible chandeliers are in fabulous conditions, with no spots of rust, scratches or chips. The few signs that can appear in the photos on the chrome are just fingerprints.
This iconic Mid-Century space age chandelier features a structure in chrome with three mind-blowing shades in "pelugoso" curved Murano glass. The Pelugoso technique was developed by Venini during the 1920s and is obtained by introducing a substance into the molten blown-glass capable of producing the development of gas bubbles.
The chandelier uses a total of 6 E14 light bulbs. The effect when lit is breathtaking. It comes wired and tested, compatible with both US and EU standards.
The elegant lines of the two main elements are crossed like links of a chain. This fantastic light can be used as a chandelier or, upside down, as a table lamp.
A timeless and iconic piece, ideal for a Mid-Century modern living room.
