About the Item
An original French Art Deco alabaster bowl shape pendant with beautiful patterns of golden honey, burnt orange, amber, brick and cognac colored contrasting areas. Some natural veining and striations in charcoal and verde green appear like agate stone and create a wonderful visual atmospheric mood overall.
Mounted on the original hand hammered iron armature with three large rose blossom accents and a decorative leaf motif canopy.
The alabaster has an appealing semi gloss surface sheen and the color glows like a sunset or magical embers in a fireplace.
There is an old restoration at the rim near the flower as well as hairline seams and fissures mostly camouflaged by the natural veining.
