About the Item

A striking and most unique American 20th century Art Deco st. Ormolu and Glass pendant chandelier, by Charles J. Weinstein, circa 1930. This truly stunning pendant named the L'etiolé or Starred Chandelier displays a wonderful and ingenious Ormolu cage with square mottled bezels. The interior of the cage houses a single bulb which illuminates the cage and emits an elegant radiance from within each Glass spike of the star. A single bezel opens on its hinge to gain access to the interior. Each impressive Glass spike is frosted at its base and displays intricate reliefs leading up to the clear tips. Chain and Canopy Length: 15.5"
