About the Item
This beautiful compact chandelier was made in France in the late 19th century. The pendant features 6 asymmetrical shaped arms decorated with scrolls and acanthus. The central turned column of the lamp is decorated with a gadrooned mold, acanthus, and ends in laurel branches at the top. The cast ornaments are highly detailed and the whole chandelier has a great patina. The 7 lights all feature etch glass rose-shaped shades. All lights are equipped with BA22D fixtures that will hold the bayonet lamps. The wiring of the chandelier is recently renewed and therefore in great condition. One of the etched glass roses was damaged and the broken pieces were glued together. It is visible upon close inspection, however, when suspended it cannot be seen. The chandelier is clean, solid, and ready for use.
