This striking and rare, 13-light chandelier has an amazing look and feel. If you live or work in an Arts and Crafts or in an Art Deco building/interior and you are looking for a matching fixture to grace your living or work space then this very rare and all handcrafted, copper and silk chandelier could be flying your way soon. We have sold a large number of antique light fixtures around the globe, but when it comes to chandeliers from the Dutch Arts Crafts era this sizable and relatively timeless specimen is only one of very few that we have been able to find. The design is both beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, because the combination of the copper hardware and the goldenbrown silk shade is an absolute joy to look at. Because of the quality of the copper Arts and Crafts Style elements and the relatively timeless design we feel this rare antique may have been made by Winkelman en van der Bijl (of Amsterdam), but we have no way to prove that. The excellent condition, double layered silk inside this pendant's shade is an expensive replacement and it creates the most amazing warm light that we have ever seen. It creates a unique atmosphere, one that will make your room look exactly like what an original Arts Crafts room would have looked like in the early 1900s. This 13-light fixture is completely rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and you will be able to use regular American screwthread bulbs. So if you are looking for a unique Arts Crafts pendant to grace your entry hall, staircase, living room, office or any other living space that can do with a style-upgrade then this all handcrafted specimen could be perfect for you. There is one issue: because the hand-hammered, circular copper frame-ring is slightly twisted (as shown in images 9 and 10) we would advise not to mount this chandelier with that ring at eye level. When that ring hangs a little higher than eye-level then this chandelier will look great. Mind you, our fair price for this rare and stylish work of lighting art even includes perfect packing and also worldwide shipping from our store to your door in just 4 to 6 days. Maximum height x diameter: 37.8 x 24 inches. Height including the eight 'candle bulbs' but without the chain canopy: 17.3 inches. Thanks to the chain, we (or you) can also change the drop to one that is perfect for you.
