A very well presented 12" glass 'Blondel Stiletto' pendant light by Holophane. c.1920
Comprising a two-part prismatic glass bowl and matching top plate, each bearing the Holophane stamp to the inside rim. The finely moulded Blondel Stiletto pattern is designed to refract and diffuse light evenly, producing a soft yet efficient illumination that was highly prized in both commercial and domestic settings of the period.
Retained with an elegant brass ring, hanger and gallery, the fitting combines industrial functionality with understated decorative appeal. Chains can be shortened to suit drop, making it adaptable for a range of interiors. A rare survivor in excellent condition, this piece exemplifies Holophane’s reputation for quality and innovation in early 20th-century lighting.
Rewired with black twisted flex ready to be installed.
