A large and incredibly rare surviving early two-tone opaline glass pendant light advertising Home
Colonial Stores. c.1900
Originally gas-lit, this hand-blown and rolled glass pendant was designed to both illuminate and advertise the store - hence the distinctive two-tone opaline glass. Features original etched and hand painted lettering, some of which has faded with time. Finished with a period copper gallery with a lovely natural patina.
Rewired with 1m of black twisted flex.
