About the Item
Maria Teresa Crystal Living Room Chandelier 1950 richly decorated with crystal pendants, with twelve curved arms ending in E14 lights in addition to the usual central E27 light, for a total of 13 lights. The bulb at the top of the structure emphasizes from within the magical effect of light refraction and the sparkle of transparent, faceted crystals. It is in excellent condition, fully serviced and re-electrified, ready to hang. Weighing 16 kg, the chain and ceiling cup are missing and will be supplied upon request.
The Maria Teresa chandelier features a metal frame embellished with an ornamental glass stem and twelve protruding arms decorated with drop-shaped elements made of crystal, covered with crystals all along the metal frame that has been re-decorated, decorated with a multitude of crystal drops of various shapes and sizes, shaped and ground fan-shaped, almond-shaped, prisms, octagons.
The Maria Theresa-style crystal chandelier model refers to the Empress of Austria who ruled from 1740 to 1780 and inspired a chandelier that has become a timeless lighting classic and is named after her. Designed in the first half of the 18th century in honor of the Empress, this chandelier quickly became the star of Europe's most opulent halls.
This thirteen-light chandelier was made in the 1950s, has an iron core completely covered with crystals and embellished with drops, rosettes and pendants.The versatility of this mid-20th century Maria Teresa chandelier, harmonious and scenic, makes it ideal for illuminating any setting, from the most classic to the contemporary.

Lampadario Italiano della metà XX secolo in Cristallo Bohemia a 12 bracci. Elegante lampadario da sala in cristallo di Bohemia a dodici luci del 1950 circa; il fusto centrale a balaustro formato da vasi di vetro stampato è delimitato nelle estremità inferiori e superiori da due coppe in cristallo, internamente dorate al mercurio, decorate da pendenti a cuspide distanziati con ottagono.
Dalla coppa centrale dipartono dodici bracci in cristallo pieno, a voluta semplice e dalla superficie sfaccettata; i relativi piattelli hanno le stesse finiture delle coppe dorate ed in corrispondenza di questi ed a metà di ogni braccio troviamo un pendente in cristallo piatto a losanga sagomata.
Tra i bracci troviamo eleganti pastorali curvi in cristallo pieno, con la superficie sfaccettata, ai quali sono appesi dei pendenti identici a quelli dei bracci.
Il lampadario proviene da una villa privata di Milano.
Il lampadario è stato elettrificato secondo gli standard europei per una potenza totale di watt 1000 divisi su due linee. Idoneo per 12 lampadine Edison 14
