About the Item

Original Antique Floral Rezzonico Murano chandelier, Italy 1900’s Large and rich handmade colorful Rezzonico Murano chandelier. The chandelier originates from a noble family in Ventimiglia, Italy. Original condition, dismantled, cleaned and inspected for safety. A very fine com¬bi¬na¬tion of pas¬tel col¬ors and dec¬o¬ra¬tion in the shape of blos¬soms, leaves and flowers of which some in pasta di vetro resembles porcelain made flowers and blosoms. 12 Hand forged arms, covered in glass elements end with 12 light sources on two levels. 9 on level 1 and 3 on level 2. Ecdison E14 light bulb fittings can be rewired/replaced with US standard Edison 12 candelabra light bulb fittings at your request. The chandelier has been rewired some years ago by the previous owners and it is fully functional. We made no modifications and the chandelier is as it was some 100+ years ago when first made. It is rare to find a piece like this in original intact condition and interesting provenance. Aditional photos available on demand. Sizes: Diameter 85 cm, height 85 cm but can be prolonged with a chain to desired height. Additional chain and cable complementary.
