About the Item
An exceptional tall three-tier Dutch chandelier in patinated brass. The chandelier originates in The Netherlands and was made in the early 1900s. It has the typical shape that Dutch or Flemish chandeliers are known for. It has a central column of stacked globes and 18 curved arms divided over three layers. As common with these chandeliers, the piece ends with a large ball that was filled with chalk to add weight and to stabilize the piece once suspended. The chandelier was completely made in brass and it was patinated to obtain its matte natural color. This impressive chandelier has been in our workshop where we’ve replaced the fittings and renewed the wiring. It is wired for both EU and US electricity. The chandelier also comes with an authentic chain and ceiling cover. The chandelier has a height of 33.86 inches and the chain including the ceiling cover has a length of 28.35 inches. The chandelier is in good antique condition and is clean and fully functional.
