- A large opaline ceiling pendant with original gallery, chain and ceiling rose, France circa 1930.
- Heavy quality glass shade with intricate detail and pattern throughout, the most beautiful aged brass gallery to the top and with original linked chain in plenty of length.
- Rewired with brown braided flex and PAT tested.
- Height 64cm, Width 23cm, Depth 23cm.
Opaline Glass Opaline is a form of decorative glassware which was made throughout the 19th century, manufacture was predominantly French, although it was inspired by Venetian Milk Glass, and White Glass produced in Bristol. The popularity of Opaline glass began during the reign of Napoleon and various locations across in England were involved in their production. The opaline glass is characterised by a bright white colour, crystal like, giving it jewel-like qualities across its appearance.
