Handcrafted and rare, Asian lantern-like pendant. This rare combination-of-styles pendant / flush mount is in excellent condition and a joy to own and look at. It actually comes from the same home as the Asian American style pendant we sold via 1stdibs last month. This quality crafted glass shade again is of a beautiful geometrical design and the marble-look surface gives it an extra serene quality, both with the light switched on and off. The original and handcrafted tassel gives this fixture a slightly unconventional, but very stylish character. The original and creamy-white, bakelite canopy also adds to this rare light's serene look and feel. To us this mixture of worldly styles and wonderful materials brings out the best of two worlds. Finally, its relatively small size makes it perfect for using in a small entrance, in a bedroom, on a landing etc. and the warm light it radiates could help create just the right atmosphere.
