About the Item
A gorgeous and rare Art Deco alabaster ceiling light made in Europe in 1930s.
The shade is carved from a single block of alabaster and features soft white tones interspersed with natural veins and bold black accents, making it truly one of a kind.
The rim of the bowl is carved with a repeating pattern and dyed black.
The shaft is wrapped with cord. The bowl is attached to it with a decorated bronze knob.
The ceiling canopy is also made of alabaster.
The fixture is ready for use. Wires and bulbs sockets are renewed. It takes two medium or standard Edison screw base bulbs type E26 or E27.
