About the Item

Rare geometric Art Deco or Bauhaus chandelier, circa 1930. Nickeled brass hardware with unusual glass shades, which are clear on one side and have a white casing on the other, along the rim the white casing has been 'shaved' off so that the rims are clear. Very nice original condition with some patina on the nickel. The arms have original brass and ceramic E27 sockets, while the centerpiece holder three E14 sockets. Previous owner had the chandelier professionally rewired (down- and uplight can be switched on independently).
