About the Item

Measures: 18.5" wide and 12.75" tall. A perfect Art Deco period chandelier in the skyscraper theme and perfect for adorning a room with Donald Deskey furniture or the like. Captures the tone of the era perfectly with nickel plated aluminum, painted black elements and special art glass made for the ceiling fixture that has qualities akin to loetz glass with an applied black strip across each of the 5 shades. The 5 arms turn up and attach to the ceiling plate. Each socket is rated for 200 watts but we would not recommend such a high wattage per lamp. The ceiling fixture has all the manufacturing hallmarks of being a one-off and the hardware dates it to the period. Would benefit from re-wiring but is tested and operational. Contact us if you would like it rewired. Maker is unknown, obtained in Chicago.
