About the Item
An Art Nouveau pendant signed G.V. Croismare for Muller Frères Lunéville, featuring richly colored pâte de verre glass and sculptural brass mounts.
This refined French Art Nouveau pendant light, dating to circa 1920, features a beautifully shaped pâte de verre glass bowl signed 'G.V. Croismare,' produced for Muller Frères Lunéville.
The glass displays warm orange and milky white tones, along with delicate yellowish nuances, characteristic of Muller Frères’ refined glassmaking and organic Art Nouveau palette. The softly layered coloration creates a luminous, atmospheric effect when illuminated.
The bowl is elegantly suspended by decorative brass chains and fittings, finely cast with flowing Art Nouveau motifs. The sculptural brass elements add architectural presence and visual rhythm, beautifully balancing the organic character of the glass.
The pendant is fitted with one new E27 (E26) socket, suitable for standard bulbs.
As with all vintage lighting, professional installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.
The pendant is supplied with a matching brass ceiling canopy, harmonized with the chains and fittings for a cohesive, refined finish.
In good condition with light, age-appropriate wear. The brass shows a gentle patina consistent with age.
