Bejewelled Hand (Gold) is a collaboration art piece between ANGO and The Remaker, specially created for the “YOU DO ME, I DO YOU” Art Exhibition, which focuses on sustainable designs. This unique piece exemplifies the art of recycling, reusing, and upcycling materials to add value and create sustainable art.
This series of bejeweled hands, titled "Jewelry Light Signals from the Other Side," conveys a mix of clear universal messages and hidden messages from beyond. Crafted from the sleeves of upcycled leather jackets—materials often more challenging to reuse than the main body of the jackets—these hand gestures are formed using Ango's unique technique of hand-welded metal filigree. The final touch is a luxurious 22-carat gold plating, adding a touch of elegance and luminosity to the art piece.
By combining artistry, sustainability, and collaboration, Bejewelled Hand (Gold) stands as a testament to innovative design and environmental consciousness.
