About the Item
A collaboration between William Couig and artist Beth Dary, the Stellar Pendant design displays all the unique features of their Orbit
Series but in a single cluster arrangement. With a main orb
featuring the signature bubbled finish and subsequent smaller orbs fused to
the exterior, the Stellar Pendant casts a sparkling array of light that creates
an ethereal feel in your home. The piece is started with one main bubble blown with the bubbled finish. From there subsequent bubbles are blown and meticulously added to create each custom cluster. Each light comes furnished with an LED candelabra base bulb that perfectly compliments the custom champagne tone of the hardware. Handmade in downtown Brooklyn by Beth, Bill and their team at the UrbanGlass studio.

FurthurDesign is a line of modern glass objects and lighting handmade by William Couig in Brooklyn, NY. The work has an aesthetic steeped in the 70's vision of future that William was raised on in film and popular culture. Created using traditional Venetian techniques, the FurthurDesign line utilizes the natural attributes and tendencies of glass to create logical design concepts. While each grouping has machine-made qualities, they have distinctly hand blown features and an organic appeal.
